The Man, the myth, the legend.

Pete has officially completed his time at Oxford University. (Can you hear the celestial song?) After 2 long years, countless books, long hours at the library, innumerable bottles of wine, and a couple meltdowns, he’s finally made it!
The dissertation is turned in, and this morning he sat down to take his one and only exam for German, all decked out in his monkey suit.

Here he is before the exam……..he looks nervous doesn’t he?

Cut to about 4 hours later, and here he is walking away from his last responsibility at Oxford. I still think he looks a little nervous, but also invigorated. Or maybe that's just the breeze rustling through his shiny locks.

I made him pose in front of the Radcliff Camera, the quintessential Oxford monument. He looks a little giddy here; I think it was sinking in that he was finally finished.

This is shortly before he got annoyed with me for making him pose for so many shots. He told me I was acting like my mother, and then we didn’t speak for the next 4 hours……

I kid, I kid. We went on to have a delicious lunch, and headed home to settle into doing nothing. That’s a humongous lie, as now we only have 6 days to figure out how to get us and all of our stuff back home. Should be no problem!

Later that day, we had dinner with our Viking friends to celebrate. They asked us what we will miss the most, and all we could come up with were the sausages, so I guess we're ready to leave. To be fair, they do make a mean sausage. So, in just a few days it will be farewell to Oxford forever! Soon, we'll back home livin' it up for the summer, enjoying that ever elusive Pacific Northwest sunshine. Then it's on to the next adventure.
Until then.....
